UCB Alizes, was the name chosen as for UCB Africa’s work in the Madagascar region. Alizes refers to the prevailing ocean winds in that part of the world.

Pakistan Christian TV
Shine TV recently hosted Pastor Dave Connell from Bay City Church N.Z. Dave and his family are moving to Pakistan this month to manage Isaac TV, the country’s only Christian TV channel.
Dave has preached in Pakistan with his church’s mission’s team over the past few years. Now he and his family have been called to work with the TV ministry in Lahore full time.
UCB New Zealand : Extra Time
New Zealand Affiliate, Rhema Broadcasting Group (RBG) is facing the challenge of raising NZ$6.4 million to retain its commercial broadcasting licenses throughout N.Z for the next 20 years. RBG CEO John Fabrin was blessed to make the following announcement on the 29th of November.
“We have just received news from the New Zealand Government that we have been granted a second extension to the settlement date. An additional three months has been given to allow time to try and raise the funds necessary to secure all the licenses. The new deadline for payment is the 2nd March 2011.”
UCB Australia : 459 and Still Praying
UCB Australia recently launched new Vision FM stations on the Mornington Peninsula and the town of Maldon in Victoria. A third station was launched in Tallebudgera Valley Queensland. This brings the number of Vision FM stations to 459 – well on the way to UCB A’s prayer target of 500 stations.
The beautiful Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. Vision is broadcasting on 88.0 FM in the seaside town of Tootgarook. Besides being famous for hosting Vision’s 37th station in Victoria and UCB’s 456th station overall, it is also notable for its 100+ species of birds living in the local wetlands.
