UCB Alizes, was the name chosen as for UCB Africa’s work in the Madagascar region. Alizes refers to the prevailing ocean winds in that part of the world.

Through this website we will introduce you to the people that make us who we are. You may be interested in being a part of what God is doing in Christian media around the world and we would love to hear from you.When it comes to communication, you and I are daily giving or absorbing information which inspires us to engage with those around us. In a time long past, that information had to pass on from one person to another, who then passed it on to the next and it was slow. Now with media in all its forms the multiplication factor has kicked in and we know about earthquakes in one part of the world and celebrity marriages in another before the mornings paper has arrived.
That is one of the key reasons that the spread Gospel has been multiplied in the last 100 years by the use of media. The age of electronic media has given us alot to be thankful for.
Mr Gutenberg gave us the moveable type that created the publishing business. Mr Marconi set the airwaves alight with talk and music on the wireless or the radio as we like to call it now. Then it was a number of contributors like Scotsman, John Baird and Utah farm boy Philo Farnsworth bringing us their contribution to moving pictures that launched the Television era into our homes.
United Christian Broadcasters has been born of that same pioneering spirit, taking what was to hand to further the Gospel. In our history we count radio as a pivotal attribute in helping bring the Good News of Jesus Christ into the lives of thousands of people around the world.
Today we help link affiliated Christian broadcasting and evangelistic ministries around the globe. Our goal is to help facilitate the distribution of the Gospel message in the various forms of media that connect, inform and in our belief, can transform a life.
